So I picked up my Macbook Air this past Friday and I love it. However, I am having issues with the speakers. Sometimes when I am listening to music on it I am hearing buzzing sounds coming out of the speakers. It sounds similar to the noise you hear on the Apple headphone speakers when they get old and worn out. It is not something thats extremely loud and overwhelming but it is something I can definitely hear if I listen for it. can hear this even with the volume at like 80%. I am trying to decide on whether to return it or not or if its just because they are new speakers and it might fix itself. I also dont want to return it and get another if I am going to have the same issue with another one. Anyone else having issues or anything?

My macbook air doesn't have any weird noise. The speakers are clear and loud. I think they are even better than the macbook pro 13 mid 2010 I previous own. I think the MBP 13 did have the noise that you mentioned which happened on your macbook air.

I'd return it asap if it was bought from local apple store.

I'm amazed by the build in stereo speakers, and this is not my first Mac.
Louder and better than my MacBook aluminum unibody it replaced, and it's dead silent when there is no audio playing.
