Speaker went out in iPhone...

if no one can hear you then it's the mic that's the problem...not the speaker
Have you tried doing a hard reset? Have you tried restoring? This might fix everything.
and to answer your question....no they won't let you switch colors
Bought a brand new iphone saturday and the bottom right speaker is blown? Sometimes i hear a pop from it but all the sounds come from the left one. Im going to exchange it out for a new one today..

There is only one speaker. The other one is the mic.

Yep, they only do like for like exchanges. Even if you offer to pay. Otherwise, if they didn't, there would be queues of people breaking their phones when they got bored with the coulour or ran out of size on their iPhone.
Got it replaced, got another black one no worries.
Just funny thing that happened. I restored my phone removing the jailbreak but the makeitmine carrier logo was still there. The Genius goes how'd you manage to change that? And i'm like uhhh some app from the app store lol
