So I just noticed that on my iPhone 8 Plus, when I play music through the speakers in the background and type on my phone, occasionally the speakers will make a “pop” or “crackle” sound. My volume is only a quarter of the way up too so I’m not blasting the speakers. Is this normal? Do other iPhone 8 Plus’s do this as well?

This happens to me once in a while as well. It's random, but It's never raised a concern for me. But it's definitely noticeable because it truly is a loud pop with the keyboard.

Sure it's not the haptics? They've been messed up for me and a lot of people since 11.2.

EDIT: Scratch that, I remember now that multitasking doesn't involve haptics on the 8 Plus.

So is this a software issue or anything that Apple can fix?

This has happened to me during multiple versions of iOS updates and it's never been rectified, I can easily overlook it . It could be just a software glitch in general and there is nothing Apple can do in store for you.

Ok thank you! I notice this happening more when I’m streaming music from some website or Pandora. It doesn’t do it as frequently when I play music that is actually on my iPhone.
