Hello everyone,
I really need some speakers for my iPod and I'm wondering what everyone's recommendations would be. I have ~300 to spend at most, but would also like to hear about some lower cost products. Mainly, I need something that is easily portable, can get decently loud (room fits about 25-30 comfortably), and has good quality. It really can't get static or anything when playing loud enough for that many people (these people would be silent). Does anyone have anything good to suggest? Thank you so much in advance!

iPod Hi-Fi and Bose are both good. At least I think as Ive only heard them at the apple store.

no highs, no lows..
it must be bose.

define easily portable... like how big can it be, how many cables/components can you deal with, etc

Sorry for the lack of clarification. Portable means that it can be carried from a building to a car and back again, by one person (40's - 50's) fairly easily. Not on a cart or anything, just carried. It's going to be used by a taiji instructor to play music (performed mainly on an erhu, if you know what that is, but with other instruments as well) during meditation. There are outlets in the room, so it doesn't have to run on batteries. It just can't have a lot of static or bad noise quality, as that would be very distracting. Right now I'm looking at the iPod HiFi, the inMotion im9 (altec), and the bose
