Special Financing through Apple Card?

I thought I saw a news post a while back indicating that Apple was doing away with the Barclaycard special financing option and, instead, you'd be able to get 3% cash back from the Apple iCard, in addition to the 6/12/18 month zero interest period for new Apple purchases. Did this not happen?

This thread is old but it still hasn’t happened so I was wondering about this too. Apple said it would be offering interest free payments on other things besides iPhone but it hasn’t happened. Did they change their mind?
