The dns servers my ISP supplies my router are terribly slow. I used to use open DNS, but I upgraded to leopard. Under leopard you cannot specify the DNS servers you would like to use when you are using DHCP, it always uses the ones DHCP supplied. I cannot use static addressing because I use my laptop at school everyday and I can never remember to turn DHCP back on to log on to the wireless there. Anyone have a way to change the DNS servers from what dhcp provides?

Yes, you can. I do it currently on my MBP because my office's ISP DNS is really slow. Just type in the OpenDNS servers, and everything remains on DHCP. What's the problem, exactly?
EDIT: Another way to do this, at least for use at home, is to set your router to use the OpenDNS servers. I do this too, and the router passes those DNS settings to all client machines via DHCP.
Well, I guess i was mistaken. I just added opendns to the dns servers and that is what it is using. What got me confused is that the DNS servers DHCP provides are at the top of the list and grayed out so you can't remove them. Apparently however when you add more servers it uses the servers you added rather than using them in the order they are listed, which is what i assumed it did.
