Speck Case works with iPad Dock

Anyone got a email from Speck showing off their Candyshell case, Whats great is that it has a flap in the back to work with the Ipad dock which no other cover has.
I cant wait, I was going to return the iPad dock because I would rather have a case to protect it.

I love speck cases ( have one for my MBP and iPhone) but from these pictures I don't like the vent holes over the speakers. IMO it will somewhat muffle the sound coming out of the ipad. I'll reserve judgement however until we see some hands on impressions.

I am of a different opinion. I bought a speck case, granted years ago, for my mbp and hated it. The case was so wasily scratched, it scratched my macbook, and the build quality was weak. These cases look like a serious improvement, but i am generally wary of that company given my past experiences.

Candyshell cases have a silicone interior to cushion the device. I never had a problem with mine.

That case looks great. I loved the candy shell on my iPhone. I'm just worried that over time the flap might get loose?

No your not missing anything. Ordered my yesterday shortly after they added online (I stunned there phone guy at how quick I noticed the change)

Will be here next week, already have shipping code. I'll make a thread reviewing it (with pictures from my D90 and Macro Lens).

Any questions that I should mull over once I get it?

Does anyone think there will be any issues with using this with the 3G?

Isn't it a tad bit bigger? I'm guessing though since they are selling them at the apple store that they should have gotten a demo model to try it on?

I wonder if i should just wait and get one there???

I really want different colors though.... still not into black or purple.

ETA: I just bit the bullet and ordered the boring black. At least when someone comments that it's boring black - i can say it is "batwing black"! LOL!
