I have just bought myself a macbook air 13" which I am very pleased with I am now looking for a case to keep it in tip top condition. I have seen the Speck See thro case which I like but am interested to hear any reviews from air owners that use it.

I would also appreciate any recommendations anyone could give me. :D

I got 2. 1 by error...specks error :D. Anyways, the bottom case (both) have small manufacturing faults, stress fractures of something and do not fit exactly as I would like, like it should btw. The top part of the case is fine though. Overall, if another case was available, I would go for that one, speck is starting to annoy me...thinking about going naked.

Just received mine from HK via eBay, seems to be the same as the Speck but was £8.50 with free delivery and fits perfectly. It actually has the full designed by Apple, assembled in China, with all the rest of the blurb on the bottom case.

Offered to post pics on the other thread but nobody was interested.

I had one for about 2 weeks. It scratched very easy, the back right tab busted off. It's in the closet. I put a icarbon skin on my MBA13 and would not get another plastic shell.

Had one for a few weeks too... I do like the look of the case on the outside of the MBA, and my fit is pretty right on the money, but do wish the bottom case had two more tabs to secure it on (along the sides).

Does look like it'll scratch easily and there was a defect on the bottom case but not enough to bother with returning it. It also adds a bit of weight to the lid, so the top cover/LCD is a bit less secure now since the springs that hold it up isn't that strong (it would be far worse on the loose hinge 11.6" models I reckon).
