I would love a matte screen option, but I doubt it will happen. Semi glossy like the current one would be fine. Dont know if I'll be able to go glossy again though : /

MB screen isn't that glossy, I can work in direct sunlight with it

It will be non-glass because of weight and because road warriors have a lot of opportunity for a glass screen to break

It will be glossy.

I highly doubt it will be the glassy displays that the Pro's have, because that extra layer of glass will add weight.

Macbook Touch!

The MacObserver site has an interesting Editorial article (8 Oct.) "Expect iPad Technologies in Next MacBook Air" (2h00 PM) about the possibility of a MacBook Touch in the next MBA refresh... more than the "possible" name it includes very interesting points/discussion about possible add ons on the new model...

Like others have said, the glossy glass would probably add too much weight. The semi gloss (the current mba screen) will probably be what ends up in it.

Although it if were to end up with touch screen capabilities it seems like it would have to be a glass screen. Hmm.

Why didn't you make the poll more realistic and include the display technologies?

13.3" Glossy IPS
13.3" Matte IPS (Option)
13.3" Std. LED backlit LCD Glossy (same as before)
13.3" Same as is on MB/MBPs Glassy
13.3" OLED
11.6" "same options as above."

By the way, I think an 11.6" could be some sort of IPS or OLED for certain. They would also go higher resolution and make it the purpose.

If they do go with an 11.6" display, I certainly hope we get 1200 x 800 or 1440 x 900 so we can have the same or more desktop space if we want it. Other people can set theirs to 800 x 580 or whatever they want.
