Is there a way to hide the circle that appears when you have speakable items on? i like using the speech function, but the display gets in the way sometimes.

anyone know a way to hide it or make it invisible when it is open?

If you click it, it will minimize. Does anyone know if you can make it go to specific bookmarked web pages or type words?

If the bookmark is in the bookmark toolbar on Safari, you can simply say the name of that item, otherwise you have to say, "Bookmarks menu" and then the name of the item/folder. The caveat, though, is that you have to have Safari open.

And, yes, double clicking the orb will minimize it to the dock. Alternatively, you can say "Minimize Speech Feedback Window," and it should minimize itself. To bring it back, say "Open Speech Feedback Window."

also....

i cant find the voice command to 'maximize window' -- is there a command for it?
There is no 'maximize window' in OS X. There is 'zoom', sometimes called 'grow' which resizes the window to fit the content.

so is there any way to get a minimized window in the dock to 'grow' or maximize using the voice command?

I can't seem to get this to work with Camino, has anyone been sucesfull with it? Also is where can I get a master list for all these codes. This is a sick feature.

I don't know if this is helpful, but maybe you can use "Hide this application" and "Switch to <some application>" for what you want to do. I can't find a speakable way of getting a minimized window back.

Sorry I didn't notice this message for awhile. If you didn't already get your question answered...

It works in Camino, as long as you have the Bookmarks bar showing. To view a master list of available commands you simply say "Open Speech Commands Window." Of course, you can also click the down arrow on the orb and click "Open Speech Commands Window."

With Camino as the front-most window, and the Speech Commands window open, click the arrow beside "Front Window" to see what options you have available for your Camino window. If you have your bookmark bar displayed, those bookmarks should appear as speakable commands.

EDIT: Actually, it even works without the bookmarks bar showing. Curious.
