It's hard to text and drive and dangerous. Are there any apps that allow for speech to text messaging?

Well I know IM+ has a feature that has a speech to IM, and you can always use AIM to send text messages (or some others). The problem is it has a monthly cost via in-app purchase.

I'm curious, how urgent is it that you send a text message while you drive? Assuming there was speech to text.
What part of his post said it was urgent?
And even if it did how the hell is that any of your business?!?
Some of you people really need to get a life...

Take a chill pill dude, the question wasn't that intrusive geez. Maybe he was asking that because one is in development.

I haven't found anything either, what I am looking for is something to take quick notes with. What would be perfect is something that would just convert memos from the Voice Memos app that is already on the phone, and put them into the Notes app. I just want all my memos typed out automatically.

Vlingo works great for the Blackberry. Maybe they'll eventually do an app for the iPhone.

Have you tried reQall?
I have been using it for a few weeks now.
I can't beleieve how I functioned without it.
The regular version is free, there's a Pro version
for $24.99/year.

It's an amazing app. You speak into the phone
and the app will transcribe it and either mail it to
you or SMS it. The reQall system also picks up on
the words you sat, for example if you say "remind me
to take out the trash on Saturday at 7pm"
The app will send you a reminder on Saturday to take out
the trash.

Give it a try. It's free.
Btw, I have no ties to the developers nor the reQall
company. Just really enjoy the service.

Dictate, known to be the best in the world as corroborated solely by myself.

Get it, use it, beat it.

I just went through the site "zdnetasia.com"...Search iReader in its downloads section..There you can find your way...:)

They sell pills for this.

Though to answer your questions. I don't care if its urgent or not, if you're driving don't be ****ing texting. Do it at a red light or pull over.

How is it my business? Uh dodging people that are doing it.

Agreed with the last part, some of you need lives. Hah.
