Apparently we will be able to upgrade to 2.6ghz Cpus  Not much for now but hey im onto something :)

UPDATE! I was right! Look at configuration page for 15inch 2.4ghz macbook pro. U can now pimp the Macbook pro to 2.6ghz :) wooot!

It has been there since they updated the specs, people are asleep at the wheel and waiting for the January speed bump -- which is here now.

Hmm... what does that mean for MWSF ... a 2.8GHz MBP. :p

Horrible horrible update choice. I am wondering why other stores have not gotten that choice yet...

Yay, I can pay more money to get a 1% speed increase, whoopidydoo!

a bit upsetting.. i'm officially one of those 'bought a MPB 4 days before refresh' people. literally. my first mac too!

oh well.

i suppose i'm better off having spent $150 maxing out the RAM at 4gb than spending $250 on .2ghz anyway. according to the website L2 cache is still 4mb

originally upgraded the HD to 7200rpm.. would definitely have spent 50more bucks on the new 200gb 7200rpm which is really my only real gripe

that's ok, looks like an upgrade to the processor and/or HD would take 2-3 weeks to ship! no thanks.. ill take my MBP now and wait for a more substantial upgrade!

Damn, i got all excited as i discovered the fact that an upgrade to 2.6 was possible. But WHAT IN THE HELL are apple thinking charging €250,- for .2ghz speed bump?!!?

Apple needs to check themselves, lately they are taking this price differentiation way 2 far! ( ringtones for iphone/blackbook etc)
