Speed Test?

Hello, I was just wondering if there are suggested speed tests that can be performed on the iMacs? This is my first iMac so I'm not really sure what I should expect out of it.

you can try photoshop speed test and measure it against the other results

or check out establishing standard benchmarks

Does it feel slow? If you find out there are faster computers...will you go out and buy a new one?

You should expect a computer to perform its tasks quickly and without jumping through many hoops. It should be able to be user-friendly and do things without you having to think too much about how it needs to be done. On these levels, Mac usually wins out over other computers.
