I added a 2 TB drive to my Macbook Pro and started a new ( deleted old TB backup) Time Machine backup while connected to just WiFi.
It was going pretty slow so I
Plugged in a Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adapter
Did the sysctl debug.lowpri\_throttle_enabled=0 command to unthrottle backups.
Will Time Machine see the faster Ethernet connection and start using it? Or do I have to cancel the backup and restart it?
