Can you guys tell me what can i do to give my powerbook 15" 1.33 max speed. Like for example, disaboling unwanted stuff in osx. And more ..

Depending on how much memory you have, this may be the key to the biggest boost in speed under OS X.

OS X is a memory hog, and needs quite a bit to work with -- if you don't have it OS X will gladly use your HD to provide the space it needs. And there is a big difference between a HDs 50MB/s and the RAMs 1GB/s (yes RAM is faster than that, but the FSB isn't).

You sound like a newly switched Mac user from the Windows world. If so, let this be an official welcome to you! You'll love your new Mac!

Anyway, Mac OS X is not bloatware like MS Windows (esp. XP  ) so other than de-localizing (erasing the support for all but your preferred language) there is not much other bloat to Mac OS X. It won't make the computer run faster, but it will free up some Hard Drive space.

I currantly have 780 ram, and its pretty fast, i was just wondering if could maximize, and optimize its perfomance. I just like my computers to work top notch :) , O and i do love this mac !

;)

haxies like shapeshifter and windowshade tend to slow things down a bit but on a 1.33ghz I doubt you would notice a difference. on my G4/500mhz system my xbench score went up 5.7 points with both off.
