It would seem as per most machines the HD is the weakest link in the chain lol - as i cant run an SSD in this machine what is the best option?

Id like to get a 1TB drive but i THINK they momentus XS dont come that large?

Does anybody have any HD suggestions to make this thing snappier?
 
Stop looking at synthetic benchmarks. If you don't find it slow, then there is no reason to upgrade anything. You could replace the HD or ODD with an SSD if you really want to speed it up.
