About a month ago, I accidentally spilled water on my MBP. As it happened really quickly, I stupidly assumed that no water entered the insides of the MBP and left it be (which I now realised was a terrible mistake as I should have turned it off and tried to dry it)!
After the incident, I noticed 3 problems:
(1) Fan running really quickly,
(2) MBP freezes sometimes (very lagged), and
(3) Mouse cursor moves and open apps on its own.
Being the computer noob I am I did not suspect that these symptoms were related to the water spill until I have sent my computer for diagnostic testing at an Macbook Repair Centre. I was just contacted that they will have to fix my water spilled motherboard. But the repair costs are so high that my parents are unwilling to pay for it. I'm looking for a cheaper workaround now. Is it possible to fix the damage myself?
Even though all hope for my computer is probably really low by now, I will really appreciate all opinions and help given! Thank you so much!!!!?
