Hi
Yesterday I spilled water on my Magic keyboard. I used hair dryer then left in sun for hours. 4 keys don't work.

Is rescue possible?

I heard more water and then put in bag with rice can work. That's about all I know.

Oher suggestions?

You certainly do not want to insert it in more water as that will make matters worse. And putting things in rice to dry them out does not work. Let the keyboard dry out for a few more days and if that doesn't bring back the four keys, replace the keyboard. And keep drinks and food away from your computer in the future.

Never ever ever use uncooked rice or a hairdryer. Ever.

Whilst it's true that rice can absorb moisture, it's also an grain seed that prevents it from soaking up much.

A hairdryer on hot mode can heat up the solder joints and cause major issues to the device.

Always use Silica Gel, open air or a cooling fan for such a purpose. And time. Lots of time.

Like several days time. Speed will only serve to increase the potential damage. Patience is Paramount here...
