I just made what is probably the best consumer decision, and worst financial decision, of my life, and bought a C2D MBP.
I got the entry level Pro, because I can't afford and don't really need anything more. An extra 128mb of Vid RAM would have been nice, but I've had an iMac with a X1600 128mb before, and as far as I was concerned it was an absolute beast with games.
I had bought a regular MacBook recently, but couldn't live without a GPU, and I was going to have to upgrade the HD and RAM anyway, so I thought hey, better build quality, bigger screen, 64bit core, faster clock speed and a superdrive is probably worth the difference.
I'm in the UK so I'm expecting to recieve the bloody thing some time next decade. But when I do.. hooohoo... Battlefield 2142 and AoE III here I come.
