I'm going to use my MBP + Serato to DJ in environments where there is a chance someone might spill drinks on it or the surfaces might not be 100% dry or there might be a lot of smoke around.

I need a skin/case/cover which leaves me with a functioning keyboard and maybe even covers the screen?

but for my 15" MBP...and fulfilling the above criteria. Is there anything like that about?

I had something for my phone and that was called a 'condom case'...

Cheers :)

That's the same product as in the picture...only covers the keyboard which isn't really enough I don't think :(

AFAIK, there's nothing like that for any Apple products.

I may be wrong, but I certainly don't recall ever seeing something like that.

Gap in the market then I feel...I know at least 10 people who would probably buy one if they existed!

my buddy uses his Powerbook with Serato at gigs all the time.

NO one can smoke indoors here (thank god) and he always works out of some sort of "DJ booth"

just get hard a$$ with anyone with a beverage within ten feet of you, maybe bring a pole to your gig to poke people with.....

Thanks for the replies. I live in England where the smoking ban doesn't come in until July but even when it does, it will still be an issue because of smoke machines. I might just buy a Speck skin and combine it with an iSkin.

The only problem now is finding a keyboard cover that fits the UK style keyboard rather than the US one

Could you try to cover up the MacBook itself with something, and bring a cheap, ten dollar external keyboard and mouse?
