Split AirPod pros? I want one and DD needs a replacement for her lost one.

I have hearing loss in one ear and only want one AirPod pro.

DD lost one of her Airpod Pros and wants to replacement it.

1. Can I buy a new pair, keep one for myself and pair the other so she has a replacement?

2. If above doesn’t work, can I walk into apple to get one replaced or do I need to do it online? She’s going away and wants to replace her lost one before she leaves.
