Hi,

I used the MobileMusicPlayer hack (replacing the Info.txt file) to split the iPod app into separate Music and Video Apps, but now when I search for a song in Spotlight (is OS 3.0), I get an error "Unsupported URL. This URL wasn't loaded: search://com.apple.mobileipod-MediaPlayer/...."

I assume because now I don't have an ipod but two separate apps that Spotlight can't find the right app to launch the song in. Does anyone know if there's a fix for this? I'll probably go back to the iPod app if I can't find a good fix.

thanks,

Use the MMP flip from the ModMyi repository, the one that says it works with Spotlight.

Not sure if your suggestion works, but I found something else that seemed to work.

"pretty sure you can go to
system/library/coreservices/sprinboard.app/
and edit the m69ap.plist file
and make unified ipod true "

Since this was for ipod touches that want a unified iPod app (the opposite of what I wanted) I edited the plist so the "unified ipod" setting was set to "NO"
