Anyone else notice the split keyboard on the iPad doesn't work well?

I mean it works fine but instead of being solid like the regular keyboard it's opaque so things get lost behind it and in some apps. (Facebook) you can't send things always.

I know you can move the keyboard to the middle but is that it? Am I missing something?

It works better in portrate orientation, IMHO.

Thanks guys!

How to you deal with things getting lost in the background of it? I was just using iMessage and as soon as it got long I had to move the keyboard to the middle and it wasn't as convenient or comfortable.

Is there a setting to turn the opacity off?

I noticed that as well. It's the same when using Bluetooth Keyboard you have to bring the on screen keyboard up as well for the send button to appear when using chat etc.
