I notice on some webpages, activate Safari split view on a mac with small screen effects the font size of the page. Using the feature on my 15" rMBP render the text to an (slightly) unreadable level. I suspect it might be caused by forcing the browser to render a webpage with min-width CSS attribute on a viewport that is narrower than the min-width.

Is it a bug of some sort? It would make more sense if Safari keep the element size unaffected and make it works like resizing the window size, user would need to scroll left and right but at least it is better than webpages with unreadable micro text size.

I'm sure if you get a bigger monitor, you might have a bigger text.

Connecting to a 27" TBD the text renders just fine, the size won't change until I resize the split view windows to a narrow size. Still, it doesn't make sense for small display.

Isn't there a way to change font size?
