Splitting a cell in Excel for Mac v16.54

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to split a cell (in this case, horizontally) without disrupting all of the surrounding cells in Excel for Mac v.16.54?

I am trying to split the highlighted cell horizontally into two, and the only way I know how is to go and insert an entire new row and then have to go back and fix all of the surrounding cells around it which is unbelievably obnoxious and time consuming.
