Does anyone know if the SPO2 monitor remains active during sleep? How often does it read the SPO2? I have sleep apnea so this is an intriguing feature for me, but only if it reads often enough to actually be useful information. Thanks in advance!

Apple themselves have a footnote below the Series 6 presentation page saying
Blood Oxygen app measurements are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.
... so you probably should not expect too much or rely on that feature for sleep apnea detection.
