Spontaneous restart after shutdown

My 2016 iMac started up at exactly 8:00 am this morning after I shut is down last night. What could have caused this.

Could be some sort of "wake on lan" feature or it could be some update that booted it up. I do belive that it's possible to activate automatic startup of a Mac on a certain time of day too.
