iPod Spore: Origins crashed iPod

I've had intermittent iPod crashes on my classic since I purchased it about a year ago, but this one takes the cake. I just purchased the iPod game Spore: Origins, and I can't even play it before it crashes my iPod. Does anyone else have similar issues? Below is a youtube video I took for demonstration purposes.

Same deal....

Though I managed to play once. Then I left the game (saved and exited) and when I tried to reload it it never got past the title screen. I needed to reboot the iPod. I have a 160 GB classic.

the game was causing some ipods to crash, so it was pulled off, I was about to buy it too, lol:
