I'm just wondering how everyone's sport bands are doing. The original black needed to be replaced for staining and marks and the replacement is doing the same thing. Meanwhile my white band has stretched out a bit. The Apple rep that helped with the replacement is basically done helping me so I have to call AppleCare again. This is turning into an annoyance.

Anyone else have similar issues? Posting a pic as well

Does yours look like that? Marks and stains are considered normal.

My green sports band is holding up fine, I wear that the majority of time. The black is ok, but its largely unused.

There's many reports of the dubious quality of the black sports band. It seems apple cannot seemingly nail down the manufacturing of this band

My first band looked like that. Second band so far so good, but the marks and stains appeared after a day or two.

There's definitely a quality issue at play here. My G shock sport watches never showed any wear like this. Of course wear is normal, and is especially expected with genuine leather, but this is sold as a sport band with no warning.

I have a hard time believing a permanent mark on a band after just a few days is anywhere near normal.

Anyone experience the stretching issue like my white band? That's even worse because it just doesn't fit me right anymore.

Still wearing my original black sports band and have been everyday since I received it. I have none of these issues. And yes, it has stretched out a little as all watches do, but that's about it.

Just to add in for the other side, my wife's 38mm space gray band has no peeling, and we both started wearing them at the same time. However, she works in an office, and I work at a physical job, if that comes into play at all.

So are you saying you don't have any of the staining like the picture in my original post? When you say stretched, do you actually have to tighten the notch more for the watch to fit correctly?

I've had a black sports band since early July and it still looks new. Your black band looks like it's been oiled.

Correct. Band just as good as new. And I used to wear the band in the 5th loops hole, now I moved it up to the 4th. And I have to go to the 2nd or 3rd hole when exercising and sweating.

Band still looks sword new

Very interesting. I don't use oils lotions or anything and I rarely work out.

So stretching sounds normal, but the oil stains do not. Do you find the band stretches and contracts with activity, or once stretched does it stay stretched?

I use lotion every day and it's still perfect. Honestly.

The band seems to stretch more, maybe not. I sweat a to, so that cause lubrication. Since I want a more to perfect reading, i have to tighten it to the 2nd hole when i'm jogging or elliptical. And up to 3 on rowing. Normal everyday use it's at the 4th hole.

My pink sport band is peeling now, just like in this image. Is this something the store will replace?
