Anyone else have the problem of your sport band having “slick” spots where the band rubs together when worn? I noticed this on two of mine and saw it after the first wear on my fog band.. any way to clean it off or is there just no way around this?

Here is a picture although not the best after one day.. the spots are on the back of the band predominately. Seems like my midnight blue is pretty bad after a week of use.

Has anyone used isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to clean theirs? Seems like it works but dont want to damage the integrity of the rubber. The magic eraser seems like it would definitely damage it right?

I don’t think isopropyl is gonna hurt the band. Probably remove some dirt too. But it won’t remove the shiny spots. I’ve been using the magic erasers since 2015 on sports bands to no ill effects. Now granted it’s not something done daily, maybe not even monthly It’s not even needed that often, but it does work with no harm.

Interesting. I will try eventually then. I noticed some of my sport bands feel really rubbery and grippy whereas others feel smooth/matte. Do they start to feel more grippy and less smooth after use?
