Sport loop band size regular or extra large??

Hello all

Great forum with a lot of great info. Trying to get confirmation on my question below. I have checked around on the internet and spoke with apple and a few other places not really getting concrete answer I am looking for so thought I would ask here. The nearest Apple store is too far to drive.

I am looking at ordering my very first series 6 watch 44mm case
My wrist size is 188mm
Would I need to order regular or XL size sport loop band?
Regular=145-220mm wrist size
XL=170-245mm wrist size


Technically they would both work but not sure how far the regular size would wrap around my wrist
Part of me is saying the XL would be the one I need to order

Thoughts?

I’d go for the regular. It’s true you wouldn’t have as much “excess” band looped over with the regular size. But I think the XL would wrap almost completely around the watch and might not look as good since you are on the low end of the size range. Also, I believe Apple only makes one of the sport loops in the XL size each year (it’s the charcoal loop right now). You will have much more choice in colors if you go with the regular size loop.

For reference, I have a 175 mm wrist and the regular sport loop folds over to the middle of the underside of my wrist when worn.

Wow your right! I had my mind set on charcoal and didn't consider other colors. Odd that is the only color offered in XL. Knowing your wrist size is very helpful. Many thanks for your input.
