is there a for sure way to tell if a sport band is real? I bought one on eBay, too good to be true cheap and I was betting it wasn’t real. But it came and I can not tell the difference. What can I compare or do to be sure?

Take a look at the picture below. If it's an Authentic OEM Apple Watch sport band, it should indicate 38/42MM on one half of the Apple Watch band and the other half will indicate the size, "M/L".

Genuine Apple sport bands have connector dots that are matched to the band colour. 3rd party knock-offs usually (always?) have black connector dots.

Until the fakes get better then, as far as we know, if the connectors match and the sizes are on the back they should be good? I’ve been stalking eBay because I can’t afford new. I picked up these and the soft white really had me wondering.

Yeah, those all look genuine.
Cool thanks. The soft white was ridiculously cheap so I don’t know, maybe they are seconds or something, the guy had a lot of them. No boxes of course. Just makes no sense but I’ll take it!

Everybody likes a bargain :)

Edit: Wait a second, is that a Cloud band with ceramic pin on the right? That‘s seriously rare and very cool if you got it for a nice price on ebay!

I think it’s the Soft White with ceramic pin but I’m new to all this. It’s not as dark as cloud would be I don’t think. The top photo taken in sunlight is more accurate color, just a touch darker than white, and not as yellow as antique

No, it can't be the soft white with ceramic pin because that one has a darker inside ("pebble" colour). Cloud is just a very slightly darker hue of white. I think that's what it is. Actually, that's what it has to be as there is no other white-ish sport band with ceramic pin and without a darker inside.

If you want to get an overview, in this thread two folks went to work and created tables with all bands Apple ever released:

Ah, I wondered why the chart I saw said soft white/pebble.. so the inside is darker on that new one. Thank you! I’ll change my list to show it’s Cloud then. So confusing when the colors are so close!

Please give us a review when you’ve used it for awhile.
It will take awhile ;). I now have 11 sports bands and am rotating them. I wear the Milanese a lot too.
It’s been a learning experience since so many of the blues and neutrals are so close to each other, and the chart isn’t a real high res when I crop into just the sport bands.
