How is wear and tear in the sport bands at the moment?

how long before showing signis of discolouration?

post your experiences thanks :)

My oldest is less than a year old. But they're still looking as good as when I got them. I don't even have genuine Apple bands (except for a couple).

I might matter than I have around 15 and change them almost daily. So I wouldn't expect a lot of wear-and-tear for quite some time.

I know that's not a lot of information, but it's something.

My one real one and 5 or 6 knock offs have had no discolouration issues. I have a dodgy lug on one of the knock offs but that’s it. All look the same as day 1.

My white sport band, on a Series 0, is almost four years old and looks like the day I got it! These things are indestructible.

My white band turned blue at the wear areas. I used a magic eraser to clean it (abrasive) and that removed 90% of the stains. But I no longer care for the white band now. It’s an OEM band, btw.

pink sand sport loop on my S3 is discolored on one strap than the other. I wore it every day for 6 months until I decided to start collecting apple bands

genuine band not even a year old
