Hi.
just have a quick doubt: my new Apple Watch series 6with the normal sports band has some play where the Hal partindo the band (the one that has the pin used to clad the band). It’s not a lateral okay, the band is snug fit laterally speaking.
not more a vertical play . If you grab that portion of the band near the connection between the watch and the band and wiggle it vertically it’s clearly noticeable it’s not snug fit. The other than of the band is sturdy. The issue is with the band and not with the connector ont the watch because I just exchanged the bands parts (connected the pin kart where the other part was attached to the watch and the remaining part where the pin part was connected before and the pin part still is a bit loose, not much, but it is noticeable. Is anyone having some kind of issue?

I am having the same problem with a band I just bought yesterday. The bands connect to the watch and make that "click" sound once in, however, there is some play. It doesn't move side to side like it will slide out but it moves inside the slot on the ends. It is almost as if the band is thinner than the original one mine came with because my original one did not do this. Maybe some play is normal because all the sport bands don't come from the same mold and are not exactly the same thickness??? I don't know. Would be nice for an Apple expert to tell us whether it is normal or not. My only concern is will it get worse and fall off eventually? If it stays put and is only wobbly on the ends with no fear of falling out, I'm okay with it.

My sport band, has the opposite.
the bottom “connector” part is fatter than it should be, I can slide it in whatever I want he will not make the clicking sound.
usually I try it for 5 minutes straight, get angry, drink coffee, try it again, and when the planets are aligned, and I sacrificed some ritual offers to the watch band god, it clicks in.

I don’t like the look and feel and quality of the sport band that came with the watch. So I never use it anymore.

But when it clicks, it’s just stuck and it will not fall out.
I have a mobyfox Star Wars band, and the connectors slide in really easy, and connect every first try (suck on that, sport band!!) but it’s also moving a little bit.

Pretty hard to understand what the OP is trying to describe. (Which might explain why there were no responses for 8 months.)
Anyway, my bands (genuine Apple) all have slightly varying amounts of play in various directions, but nothing visually obvious unless examined very close up.
