I am seeing a whitish halo spot when looking phones off axis or from sides. What is this. On 12promax. Exact same spot

Probably should let Apple take a look at it..
You sure ? Why? Its not visible directly or it doesn’t affect the use. The reason why i am not interested in taking it to apple is that its because in India there is no official apple store or service centers. Authorised 3rd party is there but very bad service I don’t know what they will do with my 2 months old phone.

If you only see it with an all white screen while looking at it off axis, then I would not worry about it. If in normal daily use you don't notice the spot, then I would just leave it as is and enjoy your phone.

If it doesn't bother you then I would just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse you can decide what to do about it. Having to deal with a 3rd party service provider is usually a pain from what I hear and I'm sure they probably won't do anything anyway. As far as what could cause what you're seeing who knows. The displays are mass produced and it's not beyond possibility that minor flaws can make it past QC.

I see it only in off axis and in white. It doesn’t have any impact on the touch response or the quality when we look it straight. Its visible in other colors but very minute but had to look off axis

Actually i am unsatisfied with 12 pro max its display sucks have tint glow issue, and mine have this halo spot. The camera is having the video flickering issue. Overall when comparing with my xsmax i feel its a downgrade. Battery is good. Xs max was not having any of these issues. Was a perfect phone for me. Being an android user for 13 years first iPhone was xsmax and it did not disappoint me but this one did disappoint me.. I sometimes feel thé camera is also a downgrade most of the time photos are inconsistent.
