iPhone Spotify V.8.9.40 on iOS 17.5.1 Opens & Quits. HELP

Dear members,

I'm on an iPhone mini 12 and running iOS 17.5.1, an update to the Spotify app was issued a day or so ago, version 8.9.40. Since then, when I launch the app, it quits right after it gets to the main screen. I can't get to do anything, I tried to offload the app but still it does this once reinstalled.

Anyone else having this issue? If so did you find a solution?

thanks for chiming in, then it must be an isolated case where my app has somehow gotten corrupted in the last update. I'll just delete it all and reinstall it and see if it helps.

Okay after several delete and reinstall, restarts it works. I have no idea what went wrong, rarely do I see apps just quitting when launched on the iPhone.
