Since updating to IOS 9 spotlight isn't working at all. I updated to 9.0.1 and still nothing. If I use the app store to search it allows me find and open the app, but it's really slow to do this.

I have tried rebooting. I have logged out of my account and back in. Still nothing. If I search for anything nothing shows up, I have to manually look and scrolling through pages after pages, folder after folder is a pain.

It's the first gen retina iPad.

Please help!!

Thank you in advance!

Seems like you have a lot of stuff then. I would try going into General > Spotlight Search > and then turn off Spotlight Results for the majority of apps, maybe another restart after that, and see if that helps. I'm not sure how it does the indexing, but I wonder if you had like hundreds and hundreds of apps that this would be a problem since it will let you turn on search without the app actually having the APIs for it...

Anyone else with a lot of apps have this issue?
