Spotlight on Iphone

I was wondering if there was any news on the fix for spotlight pulling up deleted emails from the iphone.

my inbox has 2 emails in it right now and the trash has been emptied. However, when i go to spotlight to do a search for someones name, i get alot of emails that that person has sent me and they pull up and can read the body of the message.

The big question here is.... How big of a deal is it? IMO, it's kind of a nice feature in case you accidentally delete an email.
