iPad Spotlight search gone in iPad OS?

Just upgraded - loving it!

Silly question though, I can’t seem to enable or find spotlight search. IOS12 you could swipe from left when at home screen and get a search box to launch apps or other. In iPad OS, this doesn’t seem to be working. Anyone know how to get this feature back?

Hey.. You can pull down on the screen like a swipe down to get spotlight. Not from the top mind you m it should be somewhere around tye middle of the screen.

In case you have a smart keyboard, cmd + space will also invoke the spotlight search.

Swipe down in the middle of the home screen. A search bar should show up.
