I have a few kinds of files unchecked under Spotlight's preferences: fonts, messages, etc. However webpage results still show up even though I unchecked them. Would anyone perhaps know why it still persists in showing those? I've tried unchecking other kinds, and they work, i.e. Spotlight doesn't display them.

That is because you have Internet cache of your browser stored. Clear your Internet Cache in you browser and try Spotlight again.

Cleared the cache on Safari, looks like it's the same. Though why would browser cache have anything to do with it, if Spotlight is showing a web search. E.g., "Search web for Computer" or "Search Wikipedia for Computer".

Cache has nothing to do with it. That Spotlight entry comes from your Safari bookmarks. Try reindexing Spotlight by entering the command below in Terminal. You will be asked for your password.

Code:
sudo mdutil -E /

Gave it a go. Same result. It's alright, don't worry about it. Thanks for the help- it's just a cosmetic thing anyway, nothing too drastic.
