Any way to make it appear in the top right again?

I prefer it not coming up and taking the entire centre of the screen.

Its also annoying how you have to scroll down to see the results. For example, if you are using the dictionary which is usually the last on the list, you'll need to scroll down.

The old spotlight would just show the whole list as a drop down from the top right.

Nope, its a design change, one they're promoting. I'd say you'll need to get used to the new location.

It might be possible with third party software post-launch, but I wouldn't count on it making it into the OS first party.

Move to the USA or use a proxy/vpn to make OSX think you're in the USA.
