Spring cleaning....

Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've had an iphone for a bit now and having travelled across the 1.0.x to the 1.1.x range of code. Anyway, seeing as 1.1.4 is out I thought now would be a good time to spring clean the phone.

It is at the moment a Jailborken, sim unlocked 1.1.3 04.02.13G phone.

Is there a JB / unlock tool out yet that will crack 1.1.4 and the upgraded baseband? (without downgrading the baseband to achieve the unlock?)

Please do a search before starting another thread. Theres a bunch of threads started that you'll find the answer to your question. None the less...

Ziphone 2.4 will work with 1.1.4 but I wouldn't download this yet until Zibri makes the official announcement. The only thing that wouldn't work as far as I know is the SummerBoard App.

I tried the 1.1.4 yesterday and did a restore to go back to 1.1.3. To be honest... I don't see any difference between 1.1.3 & 1.1.4

If you read my post the question is clear and I couldn't find any answers on the forum when i looked. There really is no need for cocky comments.

The question is

I am sick to death of people telling users to search before posting!!!!!!!

The vast majority of users DO search sometimes for hours to try and find an answer to a specific query, most of the time only have part of the question answered or see that the question has in fact been ASKED but NOT answered!

It seems like any thread started with a question is met by this narrow and condescending answer!

ziphone 2.4 did not downgrade my baseband when I jailbroke my 1.1.4 iphone. Still 4.6.

4.6 is the Bootloader, baseband unlock for Firmware 1.1.3/4 is not yet public if at all achievable your baseband will almost certainly be 04.02.13_G (1.1.2 baseband) and your google maps locate function should not work....

The OP was asking if it did downgrade the baseband, I was just repsponding that it did not on my jailbreak 1.1.4.

I am not trying to be cocky and all... I help solved a few problems here and there and I myself ask questions here also. All Im saying is that I found a few threads very similar to yours that pretty much have same topic and same question and answers concerning the latest firmware. Obviously you didn't search enough. As far as the baseband and the bootloader are concern, they dont upgrade the bootloader on existing 4.6's. from what i understand, there will be a new BL made starting around March.

heres the time table revision:

3.9 BL from June to week 42 = 4 month

4.6 BL week 42 to end of feb. = 4 month
