It's entirely possible I'm losing my mind but I could swear that the Status Bar section of Springtomize 2 used to allow disabling the new mail indicator. Am I just imagining that?

Umm.

That looks like lockinfo or intelliscreenx

Yea that's absolutely not springtomize. Springtomize doesn't add any icons to the status bar. It simply hides the stock ones.

Edit: it might also be Status Notifier or whatever that tweak is called.

I know it doesn't add but it does subtract and I thought this was one element it could remove.

Is there no option to disable the status bar icon in whatever tweak you're using to display it in the first place?

I'm trying to explain here that the mail icon isn't a stock iOS feature; it's from the tweak lockinfo or intelliscreenx. You will need to disable it in their settings page of its respective tweak
