So the new springtomize update in Cydia said it removed some things that were considered "harmful" and could break other packages, but it doesn't list what was removed.

I haven't updated yet and I was wondering if anyone who has updated has noticed any of the things that were removed? If it's something I use, I really don't want to update to the new version.

I updated yesterday and have found no issues caused by this update with springtomize or my other tweaks.

Ive not also seen any negative threads on here or other discussion forums.

The ability to remove preference files and disable mobile substrate addons has been removed

Well damn that's terrible. I don't have sbsettings on my phone, so I loved the fact that springtomize allowed me to disable mobile substrate addons.

I don't think I'll be updating to this version anytime soon as it adds no functionality for me and actually takes functionality away. I hate when developers do that.

Thanks for the suggestion. It just sucks having to add another tweak to do something that a tweak I already have used to do.

I don't know why devs would take away functionality from their tweaks. Makes no sense to me.

Because as he put it on twitter "I couldn't really have let them (MobileSubstrate libs, Settings files, Settings bundles and Capabilities sections) conflict, as hundreds of packages would have been incompatible as a consequence."

Ahh I don't have twitter so never would have seen this.

Well none of the other changes will benefit me, so for now I am going to stay with my current version of springtomize and hope that changes in the future don't feature anything that I really want lol

Thanks for posting his quote.
