iPhone Sprint Iphone 4s, GPP SIM, and Philippines?

I have a Sprint Iphone 4s i'm sending to my sons mom in the Philippines. I just purchased a GPP sim. If I send the Iphone and GPP Sim to her. Can she just put in the GPP sim with her globe sim and get it to work?

Is there anything that I can do that would make it easier before sending it to her?

Does the phone need to be jail-broken also? Currently on IOS 6.1.3.

Did you seek support from the sim interposer retailer and manufacturer.

No, I saw that someone else posted they used the GPP Sim in the Philippines but it was from last year on another site. I have been trying to search for more information on other sites but I ended up here. So I decided to see if anyone was familiar with this situation.

I see now I shouldn't have to jailbreak it. I can just unlock it here with the gpp sim and send it to her. Then she just has to put in her sim card in the gpp sim tray and everything should work fine.
