according to the apple website, Sprint PCS makes phones compatible with Isync. I have been unable to locate a phone at sprintpcs.com that matches any of the phones on apples compatible phones list... am i missing something?

SprintPCS bluetooth phone coming soon...

The only phone that will be compatible with iSync from SprintPCS, will be the soon to released T608 from SonyEricsson. This will be Sprint's first bluetooth phone, and I also believe maybe the first one from the guys at SonyEriccson. It looks like a neat phone and being a Sprint customer and a Mac user, I can't wait to finally be able to jump into the wonderful world of bluetooth with the power of iSync. Sprint and Sony have only stated it will be available in Q3, so it should be out any time soon.

Not Quite...

It may be Sprints first Bluetooth phone but SonyEricsson realeased the T68 here in the UK nearly 2 years ago now at least 18 months anyway, it was the first bluetooth phone in the UK I think, it's strange that you guys in the US get mobile phone tech way behind everyone else.....any news on 3G over there yet?

Sony-Erricson Bluetooth phones

Nothere are bluetooth enabled phones from sony-erricson(in fact i beleve they where the first to make a phone with bluetooth, the origanal T68 which was only available in europe.).... The T68 series has bluetooth, so does the P800.

as for the first bluetooth phone for sprint, i dont know but i wouldent dought it, there arnt that many cools phones out there for cdma........

Motorola may make some for Sprint as well. Besides the SonyEricsson T608, the iSynch device supports two phones from Motorola that support CDMA. This may be cable of supporting Sprint then as well.

But, I am looking forward to the T608. I have a Samsung phone now I use on SprintPCS Vision and would love to be able to synch my calendar and contacts with the phone. Vision is great. For the most part it is speedy. The network is rated at 144 kbs; actual throughput averages 60-70.

Not too bad a deal. I have a $100 per month plan that includes two phone numbers, unlimited PCS to PCS phone calls, unlimited nights and weekends, and UNLIMITED VISION access to include email and surfing.

I can't wait to have a bluetooth phone and be able (hopefully) to surf from my PowerBook.

Are you using your SprintPCS phone for internet access from a system at all? I have a Samsung A400 right now, and I am looking forward to move to the 3G network, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to surf using my phone. I think it is possible to get a USB adapter for some of the existing phones to use them with the iBook/PB to connect to the net through Vision.

iShater, it looks like it may be possible. Looks like from the site you referenced that support for SprintPCSVision was was put into 10.2.5.

I am not sure my phone currently supports though. I have a Samsung N400 and I can not find a USB data cable for it. The users guide does not say one is available.

What I am REALLY looking forward to is bluetooth connectivity. I have a 12" PB and it would be great to through Vision to the web when I travel without any cables. The T608 will be out by the end of the month I think. I may ask for it as a somewhat belated father's day present!

The sprint network would support being able connect ur pb through it but i am not sure that any phones out there support that..... sprint cells pcmcia cards that connect to there network to allow people to get on the internet from there computer......

The only phones that sprint sells that are motos are insanly out dated......and Moto doesent offer any bluetooth enabled phones,,, there kinda behind... except mine.....:)

i wish sprint(CDMA in general) had better phones i would probably use it(and i wish u just take the sim card out and put it in a different phone and wala everything adress etc are transfered) but u cant.....u gota pay 20 bucks to swich phones if i remeber...

The phone has to be out soon, on CNET.com they say the review for it is upcoming...

What more can a man ask for? Sony, Ericsson and Apple!? A match made in heaven.

Who said I was a brand-queen?
