I'm sure this is a dupe so I apologize in advance.

I can only find Sprint phones available right now, and just reserved one for pickup this afternoon.

Will the Apple Store be able to set a Sprint phone up on Verizon?

Mildly surprised that you were able to buy the Sprint phone even tho' you're a Verizon customer, but Yes, you can activate on Verizon.

Are you buying direct from Apple?

Because unless you are Sprint is going to want you to activate and you'll have to be on Sprint for 50 days before they unlock the phone.

If you're buying (and paying full price) from Apple (or on the IUP program) then the phone will be unlocked.

That said, I don't know if the Sprint model has all of the LTE bands that Verizon does. Not up on the iPhone 7 specs at the moment.

You can even activate on T-mobile.

T-mobile iPhone is sh** though.

Depends where you are.

Two years of steady growth (while AT&T and Verizon are shedding customers) tells me they're doing something right.

(I'm a Verizon customer myself.)

Just tell then you want to buy it "device only." You'll need to pay for it outright and won't be able to use the iPhone Upgrade Program or a Verizon contract, but it will be unlocked. Just swap your old SIM out into the phone and it will work fine.
