The app definitely works as mentioned above.

As a whole, I don't know that you'll have any apps that will lose functionality from Mavericks -> Yosemite (excluding all system applications that tweak settings and whatnot)

ZeCouves, what's your feedback?
I use the version 22. And at this moment, I cannot lose the SPSS...

At first it prompted to install Java 6.0, providing a link for it. I did it and it seems to work fine.

Legacy Java and then…

Mine didn't work. I installed the legacy Java as instructed, then tried to open both an existing dataset and just the program itself and both would hang trying to open as the fans in my early 2011 MBP spun up. I've restored to 10.9 for now.

Mine was also starting to run a bit slower late in the day, especially when launching. I tried this fix, that I have already used in Mavericks and now it works fast and fine.

Hi All,

I am having troubles making SPSS 22 work on my laptop too, I have Yosemite as well, I tried downgrading Java from 8u25 to Java SE6, but it won't work. have also tried reinstalling SPSS 22 far too many times to count, I haven't been able to find anything to make it work :( When I try clicking on the app, the icon jumps up and down and forces quit itself - there are no error messages that show up and I don't know what else to do. I really need it :(

This was one of the methods I tried doing, but the file they were asking for did not exist in my case.

I'm running SPSS 23 on a Macbook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.2. It runs MUCH slower than SPSS 22 on Mavericks 10.9. I'm pretty unhappy with it. The problems opening and closing SPSS continue. Basically, you have to force SPSS to quit in order to shut down.
