How to check if some spyware or snooping app is installed in iPhone? If the app is recording voices or videos, should the indicator/dot come on screen or there are spying apps that can bypass that? Also, resetting/erasing the Iphone will delete any spyware app/software? If I restore backup from Mac, can the spyware app/software again come on my phone?

It can't be stated that the capability to hack a new-ish iPhone or iOS, in the manner you are describing, doesn't exist. The parties that might have that capability would be selling it for an extremely high price, however, and the targets would be political, journalistic, or high-level corporate users.

In the USA it would be the NSA, CIA or some other such organization that would have the capability to detect such spyware…if anyone can.

If anyone here knows for sure such spyware or the ability to detect it exists they are probably not at liberty to discuss it.
