I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Square Trade warranties on their photography gear (lenses) I'm picking up a Sony 18-105. Just wondering how is it dealing with them and getting things sorted out? What do they cover and NOT cover? Do they cover accidental damage? Drops? liquid/Rain?
etc?

Thanks
Josh

Sorry, no experience; I'm in the 'chancing it' club as their insurance always seems expensive.
However I also take the view that camera equipment is covered by my home insurance.

Cheers :)

I would image any point of sale insurance could be bettered my doing an internet search and arranging cover separately

Same here. If things get damaged I can always buy another. Most of mine was bought second hand so didn't cost as much as it is worth.
